Withdraw money with Apple Pay – this is how it works
Many banks offer withdrawals of money via app. It has also been possible for some time now to withdraw money from ATMs with NFC technology using a digital wallet.

Withdrawing money contactlessly doesn’t work everywhere
Although contactless withdrawal of money is certainly practical, it has a disadvantage. Because not all ATMs in Germany are NFC-capable. Even abroad, only a few providers offer this service. So if you foreseeably rely on cash, you should continue to carry your physical bank card with you.
It is also unclear how long contactless withdrawals will still be possible. Some banking institutions have already decided against the method. The Volks- und Raiffeisenbank has stopped the service again. The reason: Cash withdrawals via smartphone are rarely used.
