In order to make Germany a leading market for electromobility, the parties strive to expand the charging infrastructure.
Better networking of climate -friendly means of transport such as bicycle, bus and train should make local public transport (public transport) more attractive. With so far, investments in the infrastructure that have not yet been mentioned want to ensure that the train runs again on time. Streets and bridges are to be brought to good condition.
The Union and SPD also want to continue the so -called Germany ticket and keep it affordable – but without naming concrete figures. Investments in the rail network should make Deutsche Bahn more attractive and increase the proportion of freight transport on the rail.
The coalition wants to create the prerequisites that autonomous driving gets into regular operation. The structure of the battery cell production in Germany is to be funded, including raw material extraction, recycling and machine and plant construction.
