mobility
In terms of mobility, the SPD wants to better network climate -friendly means of transport such as bicycle, bus and train. The goal: a concept “think together”. The Germany ticket should be preserved in the long term at the current price. The SPD election program has a few suggestions for electric cars in terms of mobility.
The Social Democrats want to improve the charging infrastructure for electric cars and climate -friendly trucks. When buying electric cars, there should be financial advantages to further boost electromobility. The goal is an EU-wide solution with grants for electric cars from Germany.
According to the election program, the SPD is aware that many people are dependent on a car. Electromobility should be made tasty for these people. However, the topic of climate protection must go hand and hand with the securing of jobs. The Social Democrats also want to establish lead markets for green technologies.
In terms of climate protection, the SPD is committed to national and European goals. In order for appropriate measures to be social, the party wants to relieve households in the course of increasing CO2 prices by a “climate field”. Citizens who cannot afford to switch to technologies such as heat pumps and electric cars should receive grants from the state.
The Social Democrats want to protect nature and ecosystems “in accordance with European and international obligations”. Another goal: a decentralized energy supply through the local expansion of renewable energies. Municipalities, villages and municipalities are intended to receive their own consumption -related power plants or wind turbines in order to cover their energy requirements.
